Option one:

1. Define the term dystopia

2. Describe and explain how the people in 1984 are living in a dystopia 
Option two:
In a well-developed paragraph (5 sentences), answer the following prompt. Would you rather live in: (a) a dystopia where the government controls the people, laws and rules or (b) a society where the people are in control of their own laws and rules. Explain why.
